Foie Gras Anyone?

Voyage au pays du foie gras

Everyone eat just a little less of it please!

Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.

Foie Gras
First video is sick. Not only for graphical reasons, but also because it probably would not have had the same effect on me if the imagery was absent. I'm going to have seriously hard time eating foie gras now.

Vegetarianism
It's seriously wrong to compare eating meat to killing and enslaving human beings. This is precisely why I hate so many hippies. Facts were good though.

It's interesting how this world has screwed itself over in so many ways. It seems that we simply outgrew that threshold of population where we can live harmoniously with nature...

I find the second video is indeed too unbalanced to give it much respect. The text was interesting but the images and music were overly dramatic and inappropriate.

I did find it necessary to include a presentation of the irony of eating more meat - using more land and resources - when starvation is still an issue.

I also find comparing meat consumption with genocide unreasonable, but the excessively bad conditions in which livestock is raised really should be likened to unjustifiable sadistic torture.
